Stove insulation

I was not working on the stove project for a while because I could not find a proper product for the heat insulation. But now I finally did, Hardiboard... Basically a quality fiber/cement board.

So, I went to Home Depot to pick up a sheet, but I knew that I didn't have the proper tools to cut the stuff. I took that as a good enough reason to buy a new 5 Amp Bosch jigsaw! New tools!

Here is the work on the dock cutting the board (see the saw?)...


... and installing it... looking good.

But man does that board do a number on blades. At least when they're new, they cut like butter!
