Boat hook storage

After refinishing the handle of the boat hook (the varnish was peeling very badly), I gave it a good, useful home on deck.

I had a bronze ring as a leftover goodie that I dug up when I purchased the boat, so i used that as a lower ring for the 'business end' to ride on. I then made up a grommet-like thing to hold the top part of the hook and seized them both to the port-aft-lower shroud. There you have it, a pretty nifty stow for the hook, outta the way and easily accessible.
