Cracked varnish patch

I noticed that the junction between the winch base and the coaming had some cracked varnish... and there were drips in the quarter birth under that spot when it was raining. So, in the off chance that that was the culprit, I put in a nice little slop of roof patch in the crack to seal it at least until the better weather comes in again and I can patch the varnish.

Roof patch is quickly becoming my new best friend.

I made sure to mask the spot first (key to a not-lame looking job).


Then I smeared it in and ripped the tape. TA-da!
