Fuel lines

More fuel line madness... still chugging away.

Setting my the work space:

Plumbing the little nubbins so the stove can be easily removed without dragging around miles of stiff tubing:

And the preliminary fit as it looks from the other side of the bulkhead... those are the overflow out and the fuel in (with ball valve in-line near the stove, should be a good touch).

I also nerd-stenciled my caliper case. Awesome!

Happy Valentines Day Everyone

Tools for success

More stove stuff...

I needed to drill bigger holes to get the fuel lines run. That and school has been crazy so the boat has been taking a rest. But I got more tools and I'm ready to rock this weekend!

1" Hole saw!

And because they were cheap and I've needed a pair multiple times so far... Calipers!

Stove plumbing

This weekend I got some of the fuel lines plumbed up for the stove.. mostly the tricky ones.

I went to the hardware store and got a pipe cutter and the required flaring tool to make the connections. If you remember, because the stove is going in athwartships, I needed to relocate the oil metering valve... so I got that done, and I have the plan all worked out for how to run the lines up/forward to the day tank. Now all I need is a few more connectors (read: cheap) and I'll be good to go!

Here is the input line from the meter to the stove in its new location:

Oh, and I also got the last piece of sheet metal bent and put into place. Yesss.... Now just for the little wood trim bits.
